Abbie Cornish hit the red carpet at the Seven Psychopaths Los Angeles Premiere, held at the Mann Bruin Theatre on Monday (October 1) in Westwood, California. She looked like an absolute goddess in her Reem Acra Spring 2013 silver floral appliqué gown. Abbie paired the stunning number with a side-swept low bun, subtle Neil Lane silver jewels, a grey python JustFab clutch and a nude lip colour. Truly stunning!
Opening in cinemas on October 12, the R-rated comedy stars Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits, Olga Kurylenko, Zeljko Ivanek and, of course, Abbie.
Seven Psychopaths follows a struggling screenwriter (Farrell) who inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends (Walken and Rockwell) kidnap a gangster’s (Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu.
Earlier this month Abbie Cornish appeared at a handful of events at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.
Firstly, she was red hot at the Seven Psychopaths premiere in a Giuilietta dress, Aldo shoes, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, and a JustFab bag, which are all non-leather and eco-friendly as she is a vegan. Such a stunning look! Abbie wore a lovely Pucci jumpsuit, Ippolita jewels, JustFab purse and shoes at the Disconnect premiere and HFPA InStyle Party. Furthermore, she also appeared at the Grey Goose Vodka Party for Silver Linings Playbook.
Photos from all of the events are now available in the gallery. Enjoy!
Exciting news! According to Deadline.com, Abbie Cornish has been cast in the female lead role of Betty in Fellini Black and White. The film is a fictional imagining of Federico Fellini’s first voyage to America, in which he goes missing for 48 hours and finds the inspiration for two most revered films. Abbie plays Betty, a beautiful veterinarian that the director falls in love with when he comes to Los Angeles for the Oscars in 1957 and wins Best Picture for Nights of Cabiria.
The Henry Bromell-directed film also stars William H. Macy, Terrence Howard, Peter Dinklage, Brazilian star Wagner Maura, who’ll play the iconic director, and Nina Arianda, who signed on recently to play Italian film star Giulietta Masina, Fellini’s wife. Andrew Lazar is producer and Bromell wrote the script.
Hurrah! The trailer for Abbie Cornish’s next film, titled Seven Psychopaths, has been released. You can briefly see Abbie’s “passive-aggressive girlfriend” character in the trailer, which is really hilarious. Can’t wait to see this one! Gorgeous high definition screencaps have been added in the gallery, along with a character poster featuring her Kaya.
Says Abbie:
Check out the trailer for Seven Psychopaths… still can’t believe I’m in this film with these fellas. What a cast! Martin McDonagh is defintely one of the best directors I have ever worked with. I just loved working on this gig. : )
As previously mentioned, Seven Psychopaths will see its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival’s Midnight Madness section in September 2012. Furthermore, the film will see a general North American release on October 12 and has been rated R for strong violence, bloody images, pervasive language, sexuality/nudity and some drug use. Here is the official synopsis:
