• Was born and raised in Lochinvar, New South Wales, Australia.

• Learned to drive at age 12.

• Has been a vegetarian since the age of 13.

• Performs with Australian hip hop band Blades under the name of Dusk.

• Childhood dream was to become a vet and work with animals.

• In 2008, Abbie was voted the Australia's sexiest vegetarian.

• Had a baby kangaroo called Casey Rooster. "It was like having a dog in kangaroo form. You could call him from across the paddock and he'd come bounding up and follow you around."

• First acting job came at the age of 15 on Childrens Hospital, playing a quadriplegic in two scenes.

• Parents separated when she was 16.

• Moved to Newcastle by herself at the age of 16.

• Loves music. She plays the piano, guitar, sings and raps.

• Has trekked across Morocco, Brazil, Italy and France among other countries.

• She did not actually meet Ben or Matt... Instead she met Martin Landau, who predicted that she would become a huge star one day and Abbie was not even interested in acting at that point!

• Moved to Los Angeles in 2008. "I guess I was lucky because it was love that brought me here, not work," she said.

• Her favorite film is Julian Schnabel's Basquiat, based upon the life of her favorite artisit Jean Michel Basquiat.

• Favorite actresses include Cate Blanchett and Samantha Morton.

• Turned down Eucalyptus for Candy.
