Yesterday, Elizabeth: The Golden Age was released on Region 1 DVD. I have gotten my copy and today I made caps of the film itself as well as all features that had our Abbie. Ms. Cornish looks so stunning in every single frame of the movie, I went a little crazy on the amount of captures, but I’m sure you won’t mind ;). Unfortunetly Abbie only spoke in The Making of featurette but had very brief shots in others. I’m disappointed with the features, I hoped for more cast interviews and some kind of feature about the lovely costumes! Still it’s another fantastic Abbie performance to add to one’s collection. I will be uploading videos tomorrow evening so check back then as well!

In an attempt to cheer us all up after the recent heart-breaking news, I’ve decided to finally go through all of my magazine scans of Abbie and load them up in the gallery. Heath Ledger, Abbie’s Candy co-star, was found dead today. The 28-year old actor leaves behind a two-year-old daughter. We want to take a moment to express our most sincere condolences. In my eyes Heath was the most talented actor of his generation and his performances in such films as Brokeback Mountain and Candy will remain in my heart forever.

Peep the brand new Stop-Loss movie poster, released exclusively today by MTV Movies Blog. Only a few months until the US audiences will get to see this one. I think I speak for everyone when I say that I am so ready to see this film.
