Abbie news is quiet right now but I was super cheered up tonight when I discovered a ‘new’ shoot of Abbie which was taken for Vogue Australia in 2007 (view scans). Two of the images are unseen and gorgeous, the new close up shot is nothing short of breathtaking! I hope you will enjoy these as much as I did!

We have launched a new look her on Abbie Cornish Online, it was designed by the highly talented SLO Designs and we hope you like it as much as we do! The layout features an image from Abbie’s 2008 Details photoshoot.

Furthermore we have updated pages with the latest news/changes. Something worth noting: It was confirmed to us by Abbie Cornish’s manager that she is no longer attached to Last Battle Dreamer and also confirmed Abbie will be involved with Wuthering Heights as Cathy!

Lastly I’d like to make mention that this month marks the second year anniversary of the original opening of Abbie Cornish Online! While the site was re-launched on it’s own domain in May of 2007, it was originally started as a small tribute by Riikka in August 2006. We’d like to thank all of the visitors for you warm feedback and we hope to only continue serving Abbie fans for many years to come! And of course we owe it all to Miss Cornish herself for being such a talented and inspiring lady!

I have loaded up 39 HQs as well as six portrait photos of Miss Abbie Cornish at the Australians in Film 2008 “Breakthrough Awards”, which were held yesterday in Los Angeles. This is actually her first outing this year! She is wearing a cute black dress and is sporting the black hair, which she dyed for Bright Star. Abbie is photographed with other honoree Mia Wasikowska, Stop-Loss director Kimberly Piece and Ryan Phillippe. I think it is nice to see Abbie and Ryan photographed together and they make a cute couple. Enjoy the photos and, once again, congrats to Abbie Cornish!
