I have added two photos of Abbie Cornish and James D’Arcy on the set of Madonna’s W.E. in London, England on July 25, 2010. Abbie, dressed head-to-toe in black, looks gorgeous and classy as the character of Wally Winthrop.

Check out these awesome character posters for Sucker Punch! We get a nice look at a very cool Sweet Pea. At the least this film will be great to see a totally different kind of role for Abbie Cornish! I’m pretty excited!

Set in the 1950s, Sucker Punch follows Babydoll who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.

Abbie is featured in the Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign for Maticevski, Melbourne-based fashion house, whom she has worn to premieres and events several times in the past. She looks so stunning in the ad and it is nice to see her modeling for a lesser known Australian label.

Zack Snyder returns to Comic-Con with a film that blends action, rich visuals, and (yes!) scantily clad babes. The film follows Babydoll (Emily Browning), whose abusive stepfather sends her to an insane asylum where she imagines an alternative reality that comes to life, complete with dragons, zombie soldiers, steampunk sci-fi, and monolithic mecha. Miss Abbie attended the Activision E3 2010 Preview a week back, on June 14. As you may notice, her locks are now long and back to a darker color – perhaps to prepare for the role of Wally Winthrop in W.E.? Personally, I think Abbie looks absolutely ravishing with dark hair! According to reports, Abbie hung out with Sucker Punch co-star Vanessa Hudgens at the event.

Abbie Cornish! The woman arrived at Staples solo, but she met up with Vanessa and Brittany Snow inside the show.

“Vanessa and Abbie were dancing and holding hands during the concert, having a great time,” onlookers tell us.
