I finally came across some images from the Melbourne premiere of The Golden Age. A different look for Abbie but I think she rocks it! I’ve also added pictures from the other Australian The Golden Age events. View all new additions here.

By the way, Abbie has recently been featured in the Australian press quite a bit. Unfortunately there is no way for us to get all of this coverage as neither of us is actually from ‘Down Under’. If you can help with scans, please contact us! Full credit will, of course, be given!

Abbie and The Golden Age team promoted their new movie at two events in Sydney this week. These include the Australian premiere of The Golden Age, as well as a photocall. Abbie looked especially radiant at the premiere in a soft and femine white number.

Abbie is featured in the November 2007 issue (Naomi Watts cover) of Australian edition of InStyle magazine with a gorgeous six page spread. Thanks to Lisa, we now have the scans from it! MTV has released the trailer for Stop-Loss. The movie looks very good and there was quite a few shots of Abbie playing Michelle (be sure to check out her cute Texan accent). You can view captures in the gallery and a downloadable version of the trailer here (many thanks to Mamie Gummer Online!). Stop-Loss will be released in theaters March 28, 2008.

I was surprised and delighted to find Miss Cornish in the November 2007 issue of Elle. Abbie was photographed with actresses Giovanna Mezzogiorno and Alice Eve. She looks stunning! The article is brief, mainly an introduction which touches on her previous and upcoming films.

Why she’ll last: As she proved in the widely praised indies Somersault and Candy, Cornish has an emotional intensity that belies her youth and makes blond bombshell cutesiness seem like so much spray on glitter.
