OMFG! Pardon the strong words but I just cannot hide my excitement! Miss Cornish is featured in The NY Times T Style magazine, which not only marks her very first US cover but also features a fabulous new set of pictures and a lengthy interview! I’ve added the pictures in the photoshoot section. Read on for the interview itself! We’ll be adding HQ scans of the magazine as soon as we can get our hands on it.

Seeing as how The Golden Age was just announced to premiere at TIFF, It seemed appropriate to update with more gorgeous pictures of Abbie from the 2004 Toronto Film Festival. She was promoting Somersault in these portraits. She looks so lovely, and it’s one of my favorite sets!

The Golden Age has a feature in the August 24, 2007 issue Entertainment Weekly for the fall movie preview, Reese Witherspoon is on that cover. I have added scans as well as two newly released posters for the film. Inside the EW feature was a new still of Miss Elizabeth ‘Bess’ Throckmorton. Here’s to hoping The Golden Age promotion will be gearing up soon – especially for our Abbie!
The Candy UK DVD features some really cool extras that are not found on the Australian and US versions. I have made captures of them.
The gallery has been updated the high quality screencaptures of Miss Abbie playing poet Mickey Norris in the 2000 Australian film The Monkey’s Mask. My overall opinion of the film is very fickle, but I can tell you there are several reasons to see it. For one, We see Ms. Cornish as a fierce teenager, with dark hair and throughout the film her story is told in photographs and video camera footage where we are treated to lots of childhood pictures of Abbie that are very cute! Abbie also manages to create a character you really care for and are interested with just one major scene, Not an easy task – and this just being her second film you can really see all her talent! If you are interested in more of what I thought of the movie then read here.
