The gallery has been updated with screencaptures from the Sucker Punch and Limitless R2 DVD special features. Unfortunately the Sucker Punch DVD release leaves much to be desired when it comes to features while Limitless does come with quite a few featurettes – but they mainly focus on Bradley Cooper and his character. Never the less, the few screencaptures featuring Abbie Cornish are now available for your viewing pleasure.

We have been extremely busy so we apologize for or minimal updates, but here is a little catch up of some of the recent events Abbie has attended. She was promoting W.E. a few weeks back at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.
Events included are the premiere, photocall and Hollywood Foreign Press Association party. Abbie looks absolutely gorgeous at all the events! We will be adding Venice photos soon.

700+ Blu-ray quality screencaptures have been uploaded of Abbie’s performance as Lindy in Neil Burger’s Limitless.
My thoughts regarding the film strongly echo Mycah’s review, which you can read on the film page by clicking on the link above. Namely, that Abbie does her best with the given material, despite the small role and rather underdeveloped character. To me Lindy is the heart of the movie and really the only character that I cared for. Ultimately, it’s a forgettable role that Abbie did not necessarily need to take on, especially following her performance in Bright Star. She is too strong an actress for such a simple role.
Still, the screencaptures are really gorgeous and Abbie looks stunning in every frame, so do have a look!

It has been rumoured for months that Madonna’s W.E. would premiere at the 68th Venice International Film Festival, which will run August 31 through September 10, 2011. The line-up for the festival was announced today and the rumours are indeed true; the film will bow Out of Competition at Venice’s Lido. As we earlier reported, W.E. is also heading for TIFF 2011 for the movie’s North American premiere. Exciting times ahead!
Earlier this morning, the Toronto International Film Festival announced the first batch of movies for the line-up for TIFF 2011 and among the listed films was Madonna’s second film W.E. (Weinstein Co. – releasing Dec. 9), starring Abbie Cornish. It will mark the movie’s North American premiere.
W.E. is a romantic exploration of the mysterious connection across decades between two women confronting the consequences of desire. Caught in a loveless Manhattan marriage, abused and frustrated Wally (Abbie Cornish) obsesses over Wallis Simpson (Andrea Riseborough), the stylish American divorcee who captured the heart of Edward the VIII (James D’Arcy) who abdicated the throne as King of England. As the Duchess of Windsor, Wallis spends the rest of her life in the glare of celebrity exile. Inspired by the Duchess’ determination to pursue love in the face of social exile, Wally escapes into the arms of another man (Oscar Isaac) whose love sets her free. Madonna and a world class team of collaborators present a passionate tale of the search for love and the meaning of happiness. W.E. (for Wallis and Edward, forever entwined in the love story of the 20th century) is a rich, cinematic portrayal of two strong women resolved to find romance.
