There is now a 5-minute trailer feature online for the anticipated Elizabeth: The Golden Age, opening in theaters on October 12. There are several new scenes, some of which are very spoilery so you may not want to watch if you plan to see the film. You only get to see some brief moments of Abbie as Bess anyways, but I though some of you may be interested. You can watch the videos via this link!

I also added a new still which was featured on the Golden Age website, it features Bess and Sir Walter Raleigh in a touching scene.

IESB.net has posted a lot of The Golden Age related footage, including eight movie clips and behind the scenes footage. Be sure to check them out here, especially the “Bess tells Raleigh she’s with child” clip. Great acting from Abbie! I’ve made caps of it. Thanks to Cal I’ve also added a beautiful new still from the movie.

It turns out there were two press conferences for The Golden Age at the Toronto International Film Festival last week and Abbie attended both, photos from the second one have finally surfaced, you can check them out now in the gallery. I also added 4 additional photos from the portrait session. Abbie looks oh so lovely!

Universal Pictures has launched the official website for the anticipated historical thriller, The Golden Age. At the site, you can explore such features as the interactive timeline, artifacts (wallpapers and buddy icons), renderings (image gallery), the saga to learn more about the story, visuals (trailers and clips), and invitations to court (e-cards), with more coming soon. It opens October 12th.

They showed an exclusive feature on The Golden Age last friday, and in that while it was mostly about the lovely Cate Blanchett, there was a brief new scene shown which featured Abbie Cornish and Clive Owen. I uploaded the clip to the video vault and added a few captures to the gallery.
