Abbie and Ryan Phillippe attended the Vanity Fair Oscar after party, yesterday in Hollywood, California. Miss Cornish looked gorgeous wearing a black, floor length gown velvet gown.

Abbie attended two events in California yesterday evening, the 4th Annual “Oscar Wilde: Honoring The Irish In Film” Awards and the 2009 Australian Academy Awards Nominee Party. Abbie looked absolutely amazing! It’s nice to see her out and about a little lately.

The cream of Australian talent in Hollywood gathered yesterday to remember Heath Ledger, in preparation for the late actor’s anticipated gong at Monday’s (AEDT) Academy Awards.
About 150 of the so-called gumleaf mafia, including Ben Lee, Rose Byrne and Abbie Cornish and celebrities such as Ian Thorpe, attended the emotional but celebratory event at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood.
The Australians in Film organisation used the occasion to present Sydney actor Oliver Ackland, 29, with its inaugural Heath Ledger Scholarship.

Abbie made her first appearance of ’09 at some After Parties for the 51st Annual Grammy Awards a few days back. She looked simple and pretty and was accompanied by Ryan Phillippe.

Abbie Cornish hosted the Spring 2009 Calvin Klein Collection Launch today in Sydney, Australia. She was accompanied by Ryan Phillippe and looked exquisite and classic in a chic light purple dress, diamond earrings and her hair in an up do. Her eyes are so gorgeous and are really brought out with this look if I say so myself!
Of the choosing of Abbie to host the event, Kevin Carrigan (the creative director of CK Calvin Klein) said this:
“We wanted an LA-based actress, someone youthful, strong and confident, We hope that she will have a future with us.”
